This is one of our cultural finest itinaries. You will be swept away by ancient cultures, temples, pagodas, stupas, and palaces. But that's not all. Nepal is a country of mountains and jungles and you get a good impression of all that Nepal holds. In 12 days we present you the highlights in a fascinating allround trip!

Day by day itinerary
Day 01: Ariival in Kathmandu, o/n in a hotel. (D)
Arrival and pick up from the international airport in Kathmandu where we bring you to your hotel in the touristic center of Kathmandu. After some refreshment we will invite you for a traditional Nepali dinner.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, o/n in a hotel. (B)
After breakfast we will spend half our day in sightseeing of Pashupatinath temple, which is one of the biggest Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world located on the banks of the Bagmati river. The temple served as the seat of national deity, Lord Pashupatinath, until Nepal was secularized. The temple is listed in Unesco World Heritage sites list.
We resume our trip to Boudhanath which is one of the holiest Buddist sites in Kathmandu. The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. The ancient Stupa is one of the largest in the world. You also visit Budhanikantha Narayan (Sleeping Vishnu) which lies peacefully on the coils of the multi-headed snake Ananta.Then we will go to the famous and relaxing Swayambhunath temple. The complex consists of a stupa, a variety of shrines and temples. A Tibetan monastery, museum and library are more recent additions. The stupa has Buddha's eyes and eyebrows painted on. In the evening we will attend to a typical Nepalese cultural program.
Day 03: Drive to Gorkha,( 1600m,155km) o/n in a hotel(B)After breakfast drive to Gorkha o/n in a hotel. Gorkha is an ancient Kingdom and the capital of the last monarchs of Nepal, the Shah. It is located midway between Kathmandu and Pokhara. It is a picturesque hill- town that has a rich history of its own. Situated on a small mountain at the height of 3500 feet you'll see already the main attraction thay you visit tomorrow, the palace that offers a magnificent sightseeing of the Himalayan Peaks.
Day 04: Drive to Pokhara,(850m135km) o/n in a hotel. (B)
After breakfast we will visit Gorkha Historical Palace & after lunch drive to Pokhara. Pokhara, the second most popular tourist destination in Nepal. It is a city of close to 200,000 inhabitants in central Nepal. In no other place do mountains rise so quickly. In this area, within 30 km, the elevation rises from 1,000 m to over 7,500 m., the outskirts of the city touch the base of the Annapurna mountain range. From the southern fringes of the city 3 eight-thousanders: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. Overnight of course in the beautiful landscape of Pokhara.
Day 05: Sightseeing in Pokhara, o/n in a hotel. (B)
After breakfast we will spend half of our day in sightseeing of Pokhara valley, after lunch we will leave for one hrs boat ride on Phewa Lake. The lovely Phewa Lake is the foremost attraction of Pokhara. It is the largest lake in Pokhara valley and the second largest lake in Nepal. Encircled by Sarangkot and Kaskikot hills, the lake holds a pagoda-style temple. Another attraction is the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and Annapurna range on the crystal clear water of the lake.
Day 06: Drive to Chitwan (250m, 170km) o/n in a hotel. (B.L.D)
After breakfast we drive to Chitwan National Park and visit the Tharu village. It is the first national park in Nepal. It covers an area of 932 km2 and is located in the subtropicalInner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal. The wide range of vegetation types in the Chitwan National Park is haunt of more than 700 species of wildlife and a not yet fully surveyed number of butterfly, moth and insect species. The Tharu is the largest and oldest ethnic group of the Terai region, living in villages near dense jungles in regions that were isolated over the millennia, allowing them to develop a unique culture. They work usually as farmers or peddlers.
Day 07: Activities in Chitwan, o/n in a hotel. (B.L.D)
We will spend all our day in this unique place in the mids of jungle activiites like jungle drive, elephand back safari, jungle walk in Chitwan National Park.
Day 08: Drive to Lumbini,( 190km,175m)o/n in a hotel. (B)After breakfast drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the Rupandehi district of Nepal, near the Indian border. It is the place where Queen Mayadevi is said to have given birth to Siddhartha Gautam, who as the Buddha Gautam founded the Buddhist tradition. Lumbini is in the foothills of the Himalayas and is as of 1997, is an UNESCO World Heritage Site specifically nominated for the international World Heritage program. The holy site of Lumbini is bordered by a large monastic zone, in which only monasteries can be built, no shops or hotels or restaurants.
Day 09: Sightseeing in Lumbini, o/n in a hotel. (B)
Today we stay in Lumbini and we will visit another different places and Buddhist temples. The holy site of Lumbini has ruins of ancient monasteries, a sacred Bodhi tree, an ancient bathing pond, the Asokan pillar and the Mayadevi temple, where the precise place of birth of Buddha is located. From early morning to early evening, pilgrims from various countries perform chanting and meditation at the site.
Day 10: Drive or fly to Kathmandu,9hrs d, 310km, 35m fly, o/n in a hotel.(B)
Day 11: Free day in Kathmandu, o/n in a hotel. (B)
Free day in Kathmandu. You can visit the City Core that has most of the remarkable cultural wealth that evolved during the reign of the Malla (Nepal) kings between 15th and 18th centuries. The city was filled with sculptures, pagodas, stupas and palace buildings of exceptional beauty. There are also 106 monastic courtyards (known as baha or bahi) known for their art and piety. The level of skill of the local artisans are the exquisite wood carving, stone carving, metal casting, weaving, pottery and other crafts. The finest wood carvings are seen on the ornate windows of old buildings and on the roof struts of temples. Carving skills of the local artisans are seen at every street corner in the form of images of gods and goddesses and sunken water spouts. Overnight in a hotel.(B)
Day 12:Transfer to the international airport in Kathmandu.(B)
After breakfast we transfer you to the international airport or if you like you can join one of our other great offerings in cultural sightseeing or more adventurous trips to the Himalayas.
