Mountain Biking in Ladakh

From Delhi, take the night bus for Manali, reach Manali the next afternoon. You will ride in the surroundings of Manali, apple orchards, villages, hot spring etc. From Manali, the actual biking tour starts with a gradual climb to Marhi at 3000 m. just half way on the Rothang pass. The landscape changes when we cross Rothang la (3980 m.) and then surrounded by Himalayan ranges.. We require at least 2 nights stay in Jispa for acclimatization. Here, you will get acquaintance of Buddhist Culture. We make excursion to Keylong, the district head quarter of Lahol, Spiti and Tanglang La (5365 m.), the second highest motorable pass (5630 m.) in the world.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Delhi. Meet the guide at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Arrival in Manali (2050 m.)in the afternoon. Overnight hotel.
Day 03: Explore the surroundings of Manali like Vashistha Temple, Hadimba Temple, Old Manali etc. Overnight hotel in Manali.
Day 04: Bike 45km to Marhi(3000 m.). Overnight in tent.
Day 05: Bike Marhi to Rothang pass (3980 m.) and continue to Jispa (3142 km.) 90 km. from Marhi. Overnight in hotel/tent.
Day 06: Excursion Keylong and Buddhist sites. Overnight hotel or tent in Jispa.
Day 07: Cross Barlacha La Pass at 4892 m. and reach to Sarchu at 4253 km. (96 km. from Jispa) for overnight stay in tents.
Day 08: Bike from Sarchu to Pang via Namikila Pass and Lachulungla Pass (70 km.). Overnight in tent.
Day 09: Bike from Pang to Rumtse by crossing Tanglang La passes (5360 m.). Overnight in guesthouse.
Day 10: Bike from Rumtse to Leh (70 km.) overnight in hotel. Leh is at 3505 m. from sea level.
Day 11: Sightseeing Leh town and monasteries.Overnight hotel.
Day 12: Excursion to Khardungla (5630 m.), the highest motorable road in the world. Over night in Leh.
Day 13 : Fly to Delhi.
Day 14 : Transfer to airport for departure.
