Day by day itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, o/n in a hotel (D)
Arrival and pick up from the international airport in Kathmandu. After some refreshment we will invite you for a traditonal Nepali dinner.

 

Day 02: Nepal PanoramaSightseeing in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Patan, o/n in a hotel(B)

In the morning we will leave for the Pashupatinath temple, which is one of the biggest Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world located on the banks of the Bagmati river. The temple served as the seat of national deity, Lord Pashupatinath, until Nepal was secularized. The temple is listed in Unesco World Heritage sites list.In the afternoon we will visit Bhaktapur and Patan. Bhaktapur is an ancient town in the east corner of the Kathmandu Valley. It is the third largest city in Kathmandu valley and was once the capital of Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom until the second half of the 15th century. Bhaktapur is listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artwork. Patan is one of the major cities of Nepal. It is one of the sub-metropolitan cities of Nepal located in the south-western part of Kathmandu valley. It is best known for its rich cultural heritage, particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. It is also called as city of festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic and stone carving statue.After this impressive sightseeing we will return to our hotel in Kathmandu.

 

Day 03: Drive to Chitwan (5hrs,185km) o/n in a hote.(B.L.D)

After breakfast we will drive to Chitwan along the Trishuli river. After getting there we will visit the Tharu village and Chitwan National Park. The Tharu is the largest and oldest ethnic group of the Terai region, living in villages near dense jungles in regions that were isolated over the millennia, allowing them to develop a unique culture. They work usually as farmers or peddlers. Chitwan is the first national park in Nepal. It covers an area of 932 km2 and is located in the subtropicalInner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal. The wide range of vegetation types in the Chitwan National Park is haunt of more than 700 species of wildlife and a not yet fully surveyed number of butterfly, moth and insect species. Apart from King Cobra and Indian rock python 17 other species of snakes, Indian starred tortoise and monitor lizards occur.

 

Day 04: Nepal Panorama Activities in Chitwan (B.L.D)

After breakfast we will do different junlge acitivites like dug out canoe ride, visit the elephant breeding farm, jungle trek etc. After lunch we will do the elephant back safari or jungle drive. You can read more on our special Wildlife site for additional information.

 

Day 05: Drive to Pokhara (7hrs, 170km) o/n in a hotel.(B)

Early in the morning we will take a one hour walk for bird watching. After lunch we will drive to Pokhara, the second most popular tourist destination in Nepal. It is a city of close to 200,000 inhabitants in central Nepal. In no other place do mountains rise so quickly. In this area, within 30 km, the elevation rises from 1,000 m to over 7,500 m., the outskirts of the city touch the base of the Annapurna mountain range. From the southern fringes of the city 3 eight-thousanders: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. You will never forget the view. After some refreshment we will stroll along the lake side.

 

Day 06: Sightseeing in Pokhara o/n in a hotel.(B)

After breakfast we wil drive to Sarangkot for the panoramic views of Himalayas. The village is located on a mountainside ridge at an altitude of 1600m. The village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city. After that we will either drive or walk back to Pokhara. We will visit the caves, waterfalls and temples and also enjoy the boating in Fewa lake. Annapurna looms in the distance from the lake and the lake is famous for the reflection of Mount Machapuchare on its surface. The holy Barahi mandir (temple) is situated on the island located in between in the lake.

 

Day 07: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu, o/n in a hotel.(B)
After breakfast we will drive or fly back to Kathmandu.6hrs drive/30 m fly

We will be free for rest of the day and will have time for some nice shopping or visit some of the inner center temples.

 

Day 08: Transfer to the international airport in Kathmandu.(B)

We will transfer you after breakfast to the international airport for your onward flight to your destination. Or maybe you want to extend your stay by choosing one of our other interesting or adventurous tours
