Introduction:

Nepal is earning the reputation for being one of the best places in the world for white water rafting and Kayaking. And it is best ways to explore a typical cross section of the country's natural as well as cultural heritage. A variety of cultural activities can be witnessed being performed along the river. The adjoining slopes of the river often harbor dense vegetation and interesting wildlife. Several varieties of fishes also abound the Nepalese rivers.
The longer river trips offer the best range of scenery and rapids and allow participants enough time to develop skills and friendships. Most long trips take from eight to 12 days, with a lot of time rafting in Wilderness.

 

River rafting is journey on the torrential river on an inflatable rubber boat. A river trips often an adventure but not always. An amateur with a little sense of adventure can equally enjoy the rafting. You are provided with life-vest to put on all the time while on the river. You are also provided with a helmet, when needed. A trained professional river guide heads the rafting team. There are numerous fine rivers in Nepal, which offer excellent rafting. You can glide on calm jade water with a magnificence of scenery rush through roaring white rapids, in the care of expert river men. The popular rivers to undertake a rafting course are Trishuli, Sun Koshi, Kaligandaki and Seti.
Nepalese rivers can be grouped into three categories on the basis of their origin.
1. Antecedent to Himalaya 
2. After the Mahabharat hill and 
3. After the Churia hill
Clothing and personal items suggested to carry for a rafting course:T. shirts, Short or long cotton trousers, Sport shoes with Socks, Sneakers, Swiming suite, Sun hat, Sun glasses, Sun lotion and Waterproof (polythin) bags to protect your camera and other personal items.  What we provide:
Along with our high quality self-bailing High side rafts, we provide helmets, Plastic paddles, Spare Jacket, American lifejackets and first aid kit.
We provide plentiful, healthy and hygienically prepared food and drinks. Tents and sleeping mats are also provided. Sleeping bags can be supplied upon request.
All our equipment is of the highest quality, clean and well maintained.
Things you need to Bring:
Please bring with you shorts and a T-shirt or swimwear for on the river, suitable footwear for wearing in the raft, warm clothing for the evenings, a towel, sun block and your camera. A flashlight is also useful.
What you need to tell us:
Please tell us if you are a non-swimmer, or not very confident in the water. Also it is essential that you inform us of any medical conditions that may affect your well being on the trip.

Trishuli River Rafting 01-02 Days

The Trisuli, although not the most inspiring river for rafting in Nepal, is very much popular several reasons-it is close to Kathmandu and for a cheap bus ride you can be on the river in hours if a warm-up is what you need on arrival in Nepal. The major road running along side it is for most people, a down marker. It does however provide easy access to transport and villages along the way. For a family trip it provides a less serious and committing adventure than many of the other rivers.

Bhote Koshi 02 Days

The Bhote Kosi - the name implies that this river has its origin in Bhot or Tibet. It has upper sections of grade 4 and 5. Continuous white water for 26 km, which cascades down through a fantastic maze of canyons and boulders. It is located only three hours from Kathmandu. Its is possible to combine a rafting trip on Bhote Koshi with tours of Tibet, Everest and Lang tang trek.

The Kali - Gandaki 03 Days

The Kali - Gandaki is the most accessible river from the trekking base of Pokhara. The dam built close to the confluence of the Andhi Khola has shortened the five-day trip. The maximum time spent on river is now 3 days. The last two days were less interesting but certain sad losses result, a visit to Ridi village, Ranighat (an old abandoned palace that's like something from an Indiana Jone's movie set) and 'Walk in the Dark', a great class 4 that was a good finale to the trip. This river rises in Mustang, the bit of Nepal that sticks out into Tibet to the North. Before it reaches the put-in it passes between the mighty Dhaulagiri in the west and the Annapurna massif in the east.

The Sunkoshi 09 Days

It offers the longest trip in Nepal in terms of river days. It has many tributaries entering from the north that drain Himalayan peaks including the mighty Mount Everest. The character of the river changes with amazing wide valley sections and large sandy islands becoming narrow jungle gorges and corridors. There is only one large village on the river, the hardest rapid - Hakapur is named after it. The upper section is known as the Bhote Kosi, an adrenaline charged section of river described separately in this guide. The commercial trips start at Dolalghat, which is close to the confluence of the Bhote kosi, and the Indrawati.You can expect the trip to take 10 days; this may include a layover day. Post monsoon it can be rafted in 8 days, 6 in a kayak.
