This is a close approach to mighty Kanchenjunga. The trek involves walking over Goecha la (5000 m). In this trek you walk though verdant tropical and alpine forests where a great variety of orchids and rhododendrons and primuleas carpet the alpine terrain.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Kathmandu-Darjeeling.
Day 02 : Darjeeling
Day 03 : Darjeeling-Pemayangtse
Day 04 : Pemayangtse -- Yuksom
Day 05 : Trek to Tsokha
Day 06 : Tsokha -- Dzongri
Day 07 : Dzongri
Day 08 : Dzongri – Thangsing
Day 09 : Thangsing -- Samithi
Day 10 : Samithi – Goechla and return to Thangshing
Day 11 : Thangsing – Tsokha
Day 12 : Tsokha –Yuksom
Day 13 : Yuksom-Gangtok
Day 14 : Sightseeing of Gangtok.
Day 15 : Transfer to Bagdogra airport or NJP train station or Nepal boarder.
