Ever wanted to do a safari, spent time in real wild life? Here is your chance! In one of the most rich fauna and vegetation parks of the world, Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. Formerly called Royal Chitwan National Park it was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. It covers an area of 932 km2 and is located in the subtropical lowlands of south-central Nepal. It is well known for its rich fauna and vegetation. The wide range of vegetation types in the Chitwan National Park is haunt of more than 700 species of wildlife and a not yet fully surveyed number of butterfly, moth and insect species. Apart from King Cobra and Indian rock python 17 other species of snakes, Indian starred tortoise and monitor lizards occur. The Chitwan National Park is home to at least 43 species of mammals. The "King of the Jungle" is the Bengal Tiger. But there also Leopards and tigers. Apart from these top predators fishing cats, jungle cats, clouded leopards, leopard cats, marbled cats, golden jackals, Indian wild dogs, sloth bears, Bengal foxes, Spotted linsangs, palm civets, Large and Small Indian civets, several species of mongoose, binturongs, honey badgers and yellow-throated martens roam the jungle for prey. Day by day itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, o/n in ahotel. (D)
Arrival on the international airport. We pick you up and transfer is arranged to your hotel where we have a typical Nepalese welcome dinner! Overnight in your hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley, o/n in a hotel. (B)
After breakfast (typically eggs, bread, juice, tea, coffee) your first day we have a sightseeing tour of Patan & Bhaktapur. Patan is one of the major cities of Nepal. It is one of thesub-metropolitan cities of Nepal located in the south-western part ofKathmandu valley. It is best known for its rich cultural heritage,particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. It is also called ascity of festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic andstone carving statue.You will spent the night in a hotel in Kathmandu. Bhaktapur is the third largest city in Kathmandu valley and was once the capital of
Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom until the second half of the 15th century. Bhaktapur is listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artwork. We have a lunch on tour and return to your hotel Kathmandu for the flight next morning.
Day 03: Drive or fly to Chitwan NP (250m, 185km) o/n in a hotel. (B.L.D)
After breakfast, either departure transfer to airport for flight to Bharatpur or overland transfer to Chitwan where you will check into lodge/resort/camp. The rooms have attached bath running hot and cold water 24 hours a day andseven days in a week. The splendid garden with full of colourfulflowers is just beside your bedroom. There restaurant is open all the time that serve delicious Indian, Chineseand Continental dishes. The bar supply wonderful local andinternational hard drinks from 05 PM to 10 PM but you can have beersand soft drink anytime.
Day 04: Activities in Chitwan, o/n in a hotel.
Several jungle activities for example Elephant Safari, Jungle Walk, Jungle drives, Nature walk, Boat/Canoe rides, Crocodile walk, Bird Watching.(B.L.D)

Day 05: A full day of various unforgetable jungle activities (see day 03/04)(B.L.D)
Day 06: Drive or fly to Ktahmandu (5hrs drive/ 25 min fly), o/n in a hotel. (B)
After breakfast, drive or fly back to Katmandu & transfer to hotel. Rest day at leisure. You can enjoy the liveliness sphere in Kathmandu by exploring the city by foot or taxi.
Day 07: Transferr to the international airport. (B)
After breakfast we arrange the transfer to international airport. Or if you like, you can of course take another tour, cultural exploration or more adventurous through the Himalayas. It's up to you, but Nepal has a lot to offer and since you are here.
