Day 02 Nyalam-Shakya Xegar(4350m):244Km. Drive through to the highest plateau of the world, with the typical view of Landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world crossing over Nyalam Pass (3800m) and Lalunga (5050m), weather permitting breathtaking panorama of beautiful Himalayan Ranges including Mt. Everest (8850  m) but dwarfed by the vastness of the Tibetan Plateau.Overnight local Guest House. Day 03 Xegar - Xigatse (3,900m): 244km Continue scenic drive crossing over gyatchu la (5,200m), the highest pass in route to Lhasa via Lhatse . Overnight at hotel. Day 04 Xigatse - Gyantse (3950m): 90 km Morning sightseen to the Panchen Lama's Tashihumpu & monastery, drive to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbuk stupa & Phalkor Monastery, overnight at hotel. Day 05 Gyantse - L  hasa (3650m): 261kmFull day picturesque drive crossing over karola (5010m), color full Yamdruk lake and the Tibetan life line, river Brahmaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo) overnight at hotel. Day 06 - 07 (Lhasa)Two full day sightseen tour to Lhasa including Jokhang temple, Barkhor bazar, Potala palace, Drepung & Sera monastery. Overnight at Hotel. Day 08 Lhasa - Kathmandu. Early morning drive to Gongar airport for departure, flight to Kathmandu. |
