Kang shang valley is one of the most remote trekking destinations in central Tibet. The roundtrip walk of 8 days to E.B.C. begins at Yuba. The valley absolutely roars with the summer monsoon, the snow that accumulates daily on the peaks starts rumbling about noon and continues to fall noisily throughout the most nights.

ITINERARY

Day 01 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa.
Day 02-03 : Sightseeing tour of Lhasa.
Day 04 : Excursion to Ganden Monastery.
Day 05 : Drive to Gyantse via Shalu monastery.
Day 06 : Sightseeing in shigatse.
Day 07 : Drive to Yuba
Day 08 : Begin Trek to Dhampu
Day 09 : Trek over Sheop-La Joksom.
Day 10 : Trek to Damshung.
Day 11 : Trek to Path and Ringmo
Day 12 : Kangshung Glacier/Tso-Nya/Tseju
Day 13 : Trek to Zurima
Day 14 : langma La to Khatra river
Day 15 : Retrace to Yuba
Day 16 : Drive to Zhangmu.
Day 17 : Drive to Kathmandu.
