For my 72nd birthday, I visited Kathmandu to celebrate the special day. I’d always had a dream of doing a trek to Everest Base Camp. I spoke to some friends I had met previously on my last visit to Kathmandu they recommended Himalayan Leaders. I met Jagat who talked me through what the trek entailed he talked in great detail and recommend a 13 day. He told me my guide would be Dorjee Sherpa a very experienced guide.

I met Dorjee who explained the route we would trek and I booked with no hesitation. It was the most memorable experience of my life absolutely fabulous. Dorjee treated me like family a truly wonderful man he pointed out all the views I had always dreamed of seeing. If you are thinking of doing the Everest base camp trek look no further than Himalayan Leaders they are the best.
