Samtegang Winter Trek is a cultural trek passing through the villages of Punakha & Wangdi region in Beautiful Country Bhutan. As the name suggests, the best time to do the Samtegang Winter trek is from late autumn through winter. During this time, you can visit villages, farms, temples, and the beautiful nature of Bhutan. During this trek, you can go to the famous Drukpa Kuenley Lhakhang/temple. Drukpa Kuenley is known as the “Divine Mad Monk” because of the unusual ways he taught Buddhist philosophy.
